One of the formulas for creating cute cake pops is: make a baby animal. No kidding, they turn out cute no matter what.

See? Cuteness.

I had the pleasure of making these baby foxes for a baby shower honoring Mr. and Mrs. Fox, who are expecting their first baby Fox! Get it?? Their close friends contacted me with this fun idea of surprising the Fox’s with these cake pops at the couple’s co-ed baby shower.

I hope the Fox’s loved their surprise! Here’s a profile view. Notice, I tried to make a kind of small whisker?

I was really tempted to make some animal friends for these little guys. I have definitely been inspired to work on a woodland-animal line of cake pops! What kind of animal do you think I should make next? Let me know! Leave a comment.

Awesome. I’ve only done pops a few times.
How did you get the coating to be in a V shape so consistent on each one?
